Here are some random thoughts of things that drive me up the wall.

• If you want me to like something, don't ever mention shipping. Nothing kills my interest in a piece of fiction more than fans' shipping.
• Bacon is immensely overrated.
• People who post inspirational quotes from famous people on Facebook with no reference to the speaker is, like, the worst thing ever.
• Ryan Gosling is mildly attractive. Only mildly.
• Gun enthusiasts perplex me. My theory is that they live in a world of an 80's action film, in which evil people from Not America are definitely attempting to kidnap your family and no one else's. The only way to solve such problem is to naturally carry a boomstick capable of quickly clearing out a small warehouse. (I think I just rendered my own argument obsolete.)
• I'm relatively un-pretentious at work. But when some punk kid comes in and ceaselessly acts like they're Humphrey Bogart when they have six lines is one of the hardest things to resist exploding at.
• Metalheads are the biggest hipsters of them all.
• Harlem Shake videos are the most apparent and shameless attempt to cash in on a supposed "craze".
• Bishounens are kinda creepy looking. And they have no nipples.
• Tumblr is the best social networking site.
• Tumblr is the most rage-inducing social network site.
• People who think of feminists as a bad thing are pretty surreal.
• If someone says "drop the bass" in any context, I cringe.
• I considered myself relatively tolerant of Homestuck. Then my best friends got into it and I am testing my level of tolerance and mental endurance.
• Girls who dye their hair black but don't get the roots quite dyed are worthy of pity.
• Fallout 3 is offensive. Sure, Liam Neeson's in it. But it's offensive.
• I would like Mass Effect so much more if its gameplay parts were completely removed.
• Taylor Swift is abhorrent. I don't even mean it in a "lolshebreaksupwithguysalot" way. I seriously loathe her.

The Grey
Surprisingly philosophical, The Grey is a frighteningly realist survival tale with an unusually well-developed cast of characters and intellectual depth.

Life of Pi
A visually marvelous film, Ang Lee crafts another masterpiece with this splendid and epic treasure of film.

Looper
A refreshingly mature neo-noir science fiction film with incredible perfomances, an astoundingly intelligent plot, and a landmark in science fiction

Paranorman
A gleefully funny and well-animated stop-motion horror-comedy that manages to appeal to both children and adults with its emotional strength and relatively sophisticated humor.

It's only in the planning stages, but it's turning out really well, and I hope you'll enjoy watching me give input and show an analytical and "intelligent" side I rarely show on these forums.

So, for people interested: Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could perhaps review in a later episode? I only have a short list right now, but I'd love to hear suggestions. I'll try to focus of three topics.

1. TV On The Radio
I've loved this band for a long, long time. But I seriously do fucking love them. It's like Indie music with a soul, an Indie band that doesn't beat you in the head with its pretentiousness. It's just really damn good music with awesome writing and music videos. Plus, the band isn't filled with smarmy douchebags.

Personally, my favorite tracks by them are Staring at the Sun, Wolf Like Me, Will Do, and DLZ. All probably the "biggest" from each of their respective albums, but with good reason. Definitely worth checking them out.

2. Super 8
I want to see this film so very badly. It's old-school Spielbergesque science fiction by J.J. Abrams for crying out loud. I've heard excellent reviews about it, but what I want to know is what EoFF thinks. Please keep spoilers out of it.

What thing I like about it is that the kids that star in it seem likable. It seems like they're just kids who are just downright likable and not being anything other than that, which is refreshing.

3. Tiger and Bunny
If you wanna know one thing about me it's this: I have a very love-hate relationship with anime. I love some, but I hate most. This show, however, is awesome. It's a superhero show with a very refreshing twist from the typical anime fare. It's funny, touching, but also subtle and understated. It's a refreshing change from a lot of the really out-there anime of times past.

The plot is really really damn good. The characters are awesome. And best of all, the animation is excellent. It's a jaw-dropping mix of traditional and CGI, and it works together wonderfully.

The kids at my school have the style of a Sunday School teacher. It's boring, bland, overly conservative, and largely consiting of only three brands. (Hollister, Aeropostale, and American Eagle.) THAT IS NOT THE POINT OF FASHION. You're supposed to make a statement, if you're going to dress exactly. the. same. then why bother?

I order my clothes online (imported from Japan, France, and England) and go to stores like Express, Banana Republic, and Passport. It's upsetting so very few people are aware of these brands at my school. A GUY CAN WEAR A PEA COAT YOU KNOOOOOW. There is nothing fashionable about your dad's hand-we-down hunting jacket, and I'd rather have sex with Shlup than wear one of those.

Speaking of which, why is everyone so idiotic about homosexuality at my school? I am clearly male. So, why do you ask if I want to be referred to as a she? Oh, and asking if I'm a top or a bottom IS NOT AN ICEBREAKER AND IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE ANSWER TO THAT ALREADY YOU ARE STOOPID. Oh, and ladies? I do not want to wear your heels. Ever. And queue for guy-scouting shopping trips is getting ridiculous. I'm honestly considering charging for my services.

Your gay step-cousin is not automatically part of my interests. In fact. just because you're a guy doesn't mean I have the hots for you.
