The Babekeepers rise once again, but in this new era that has seen change, so to must the Babekeepers adapt. With the coming of the new year, the coming of a new tournament follows.

Not just one, mind you, but in addition to tye Babe Tournament we bring you three new tournaments!
Starting in Febuary, we see the first Bad Ass Tournament! Looking across the gaming landscape we seek to assemble those who have faced down incredible odds regardless of the danger to themselves, those who put themselves directly in harms way, as well as those who just do things that kick all sorts of ass!

With the aid of the latest Babekeeper, Jinx, Around may/june we shall see the first ever Hunks tournament! Much like the Babe Tournament, only this time a string of masculine eye candy!

Near years end will see the return of the original babe tournament, as well as a currently undisclosed tournament to take place between the Hunks and the Babes.

The Hunks and Babes Tournaments will boast the same 64 slot tournaments, while the Badass and Tournament 3 will be a smaller 32 slot tournament.

Many things one learns in life are not always easy. We of the society learned this the hard way as we trudged along, month after month with legions of babes in tow.

All beautiful, all sexy to at least a few, many were still unable to garner the attention of the masses that fueled them, and sometimes one at a time, sometimes in droves, they began to fall.

We of the Society have learned not all share our love of Babes, and enough love did not exist to sustain them all. With a heavy burden on our souls, many had to be abandoned, so that the whole of Babes may live on.

Our journey that started years ago, the journey to immortalize the True Babes of Video games, marches ever forward. A new, revised, and more condensed version of the Video Game Babe tournament shall be reborn. Four tournaments a year, at 64 babes each, was to much for the laymen to take, a folly we should have perceived. But learning from our mistake, we shall hold but one tournament of 64 to determine the top of the food chain. In the near future, we, the Babe Keepers, shall give you what you have been deprived of so long. The Return of the greatest thing in the history of gaming babes, the Video Game Babe Tournament!

However, please take this time before the tournament not to heap praise upon our tournament entrants, or those who wait in the shadows for their own chance to shine. Now is a time of mourning. A time to mourn all the Babes who were unable to make the journey this far, who fell whilst trying to bring a smile to all of our faces. Think not of them as simple losers or failures, but of heroes who gave their lives for a pursuit far greater then themselves.

Video Game Babe of the Holidays - Rosalina

Happy Holidays, EoFF. Have you missed us? Sadly, we've been particularly busy during the holidays, that we haven't had the time to update as regularly. As 2010 winds down to an end, we shall look forward to a new year up ahead with 2011. With this, we may bring back the Video Game Babes of the Week, or we may not. Know one thing, we will continue at some point next year.

Now that's done, let's bring out our final Video Game babe for the year of 2010. Presenting Nintendo's latest from Super Mario Galaxy, it's Rosalina!

Of course, she's not playable in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but here's a very creative hack featuring Rosalina in her holiday outfit with Kirby. :3

Video Game Babe of the Week #8 - Agrias Oaks

For the following four weeks of updates, we will be posting the full content by this thread, followed by a blog update using the same content that was in the post. Ooh la la. :<3: So now, who shall be the eighth babe be since restarting?

Of course, it's everyone's favorite tactics babe, Agrias Oaks of Final Fantasy Tactics

Agrias is Princess Ovelia's personal bodyguard, as she journeys with the princess whereever she may roam. She ultimately joins Ramza and his crew on their grand journey.

You first met her in the first battle, at Orbone Monestary. At first you can only see her use stasis sword, which inflicts damage in multiple panels, and has the chance to cause stop. However, later, she'll be able to use other sword abilities. Agrias was never meant to be a woman; all her previous ancestors were men, and were brave knights.

There is one battle that consists of saving Agrias, though there's not much you need to do, as she defends herself pretty well. After that battle, Agrias will join your party, meaning she'll be fully controllable.

Video Game Babe of the Week #7

So I failed to set my standard very high last week and failed to please the (justifiable) anti-sexploitation crave of a modest amount of EoFFers. Today I plan to raise that bar, and interestingly enough, it should illustrate why its so hard to raise such a bar. In this example I bring to you a heroine that I have personally loved since the moment she graced the screen, in her zen pose on a cliff overlooking a beautiful ocean, only be disrupted by alien attackers raining down. That's right. A favored and ultimately widely respected video game girl, from a favored and massively respected video game

Today I bring to you fine folks the one and only:

Jade from Beyond Good and Evil!

Jade is a kung-fu fighting photographer from the planet Hyllis. (yes, I know, the real martial art she's into is jodo). Her and her best friend Pey'j, a portly little porker, run an orphanage together for children who've lost their parents to the invading alien attacks that take center stage for the game's plot narrative (at first ;))

Jade and her camera, an inseparable duo. Early on in the game you run into some problems with the electric bill. So Jade takes up a part time job of photographing wildlife for money; until she's recruited by the rebel alliance to take on the dreaded empire! Or something like that

Jade is very well respected in the video game community by both adoring male fans, and admiring female fans. She's continually cited as a shining example of how to do a female video game character "right".

I hate to say she's not sexy; because she definitely is. But she's not "sexy", y'know? She's no Lara Croft. She's not a super busty anime pedo-fetish. Her attire is conservative yet tasteful. And a lot of her appeal comes from her personality. She's very down to earth, smart, and intuitive. She's very "real"

Oh look, a couple different shades of Jade ;] Here is a little taste of what Jade could have turned out like from her concept drawings:

I kinda like all the designs. And considering *dun*dun*dun*! the game is being re-released next year on XBL and PSN in HD, perhaps we'll have a few changes of clothing for her :D

And before I sign off this blog post, I just wanted to point out how similar a lot of these pictures are. There's a complete lack of quality Jade fan-art on the internet. Though a few have tried, I didn't find any that I felt was worthy of posting here. And her official art is very few and not very varied (quite unfortunate)

Video Game Babe of the Week #6 Curly Brace

Hello EoFF'ers and welcome to my first post as a keeper of the babes. Today I thought we'd be a little unconventional and celebrate a cute little android girl from everybody's favorite indie game. Today I bring you:

Curly Brace from Cave Story fame

Curly, much like the main character, is a specialized combat robot who seems to be suffering from memory loss, all she knows now is that a group of Mimiga children have chosen her as their guardian and she will do whatever is necessary to protect them.

Here you can see her raining some hell on some poor unfortunate soul. Her weapon of choice I would imagine is a machine gun, as that is what she's using when you first meet her. Though if you ask her nicely, she will kindly trade guns with you

Oh look, Curly's showing off her undies (SPOILER)which you can actually pick up and carry in your inventory, in-game. Who knows why. Because you're a pervert? You pervert

Video Game Babe of the Week #5 - Caster

Today we have summoned none other than Caster from Fate/Stay Night!

True Identity: Medea
Weapon of Choice: Isn't it obvious?

Caster is one of the seven servants summoned into the 5th Holy Grail War. As the name suggests, she specializes in the use of magic. She's able to cast offensive spells, defensive spells, raise skeletal minions, teleport, float in the air, create illusions and enchant things. Yay for diversity!

To top it all off, her Noble Phantasm - Rule Breaker - is capable of breaking the contracts of other servants.

She killed her original master ( who was a member of the Mage's Association ) for being abusive and made a new contract with Kuzuki Souichirou.

Her stronghold is the Ryūdouji Temple, and she plays the role as one of the bigger baddies in both Fate and UBW. But in Heaven's Feel she's defeated pretty early on by Saber.

Video Game Babe of the Week #3 - Tira

Now we present the weeks second babe, coming in from the Soul Caliber series, Tira. And yes, I know the last was technically 3, but it says 4 and we needed a 3 dammit.

Tira has been in Soul Calibur since III working as a servant of Nightmare. Known for her bi-polar personality, she spends her days building working to help recover the power of Soul Edge as well as tormenting Cassandra by stealing her children and insulting her and what not. S

She comes with a few different character designs, as well as a set fairly inconsistent set of in game quotes to show off her bi-polarness, or whatever that word would be in this case. In multi-player, the dialogue is dependant upon which design she is using.

Love her or hate her, she is still likely to cut your kidneys out.

Video Game Babe of the Week #4

Babe of the Week #1 - Pamela Ibis
You know, this Babe of the week thing has been getting a little to lively for my taste, so I bring to you the sexiest dead thing you ever saw, Pamela Ibis.

Normally this is where here age and what not would be included, but it’s not so simple. So long has Pamela been dead, she no longer remembers any of her past. For reasons unknown, she still exists within this world, enjoying her un-life to it’s fullest.

However’ it’s best not to let her charming smile and whimsical attitude fool you, for beneath the visage is an ever so slightly twisted view, I mean just look at the face on that bear. O_O

Her love of bears comes not from the cute appearance of a typical teddy bear mind you, but from the vicousn nature of a bear soaking it’s fur in the blood of it’s victims, a thought that makes her smile shine brightly.

As Gust studios Mascot character, Pamela has appeared in several of their games. The five of the US releases she has been in include Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana, Atelier Iris 3: The Grand Phantasm, Trinity Universe, Mana Khemia, and most recently Atelier Rorona. Each game takes a slightly different take on her design, though in the end they all hold the same charm and grace of Pamela.

VG Babes of the Week #2 (Debora Briscoletti)

Hello my dearies! Today we have a new babe on the horizon, and it's from Square-Enix's other famous series that they inherited from Enix! Please welcome the outspoken Debora Briscoletti from Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride!

She's a playable character exclusive to the DS version of the game. To some, she's very intimidating as a character. So intimidating, she considers the Hero more of a servant rather than a husband. Oh, poor Hero!

She's rather impatient and bossy because of her upbringing! Because of this, she's more of a physical fighter than the other potential wives in the game. But she can wield swords and the power Hela's Hammer, so it's all good for lacking in magic spells. She is a rare hybrid of a melee & damage caster and is the only character able to equip the Akillics & Diamond ackillics weapons (both of which allow her to strike a single enemy twice, which is a good thing!).

Video Game Babes of the Week #1 (Yukari Takeba)

Hello hello, welcome to the first ever blog entry (or second if you count the previous entry!) for the Video Game Babes of the Week! This blog will be updated every week on Mondays and Fridays, sometimes later or earlier, but usually on those two specific days!

We've already covered 64 babes by thread (You can still view them here: Link.) within 34 weeks, with a brief break to take care of the latest tournament, which resulted with a victory for Mio Kifune of Embryo x Empty. However, it's now time to start anew on the new blog feature! If you want to keep up with this blog, please subscribe!

Anyway, now that we're done with our introduction it's time to get started! Our first babe is Yukari Takeba from Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3!

Ah, the first female your character encounters in Persona 3! She also appears in Persona 3: FES and Persona 3 Portable. How dandy. Here are some quick stats about our first babe, if you're interested.

Oh, weell how about that! Tomorrow is the 19th and is also her birthday! That's pretty cool!

Yukari is popular at school because of her good looks, cheerful disposition, and energetic attitude. But there is more to Yukari than meets the eye. Though outwardly friendly and extroverted, she is very careful not to let anyone get truly close to her. She constantly picks on Junpei (By calling him Stupei!), hides her true motives from the group, and represses a lot of anger and sorrow about her past.

At the beginning of the game she has trouble summoning her Persona and becomes distressed when holding an evoker gun to her head.

"How do you like the new me?"
