• Playable FFXII 360 at Germany Convention

Information was released yesterday by Square Enix about their upcoming XBox 360 version of its popular MMORPG, Final Fantasy XI: Online. The approaching Games Convention held in Leipzig, Germany from August 17-21 will have the game on display at both Microsoft's XBox 360 stand, as well as Square Enix's booth located in the NGL Gaming Arena. The event will mark the first time FFXI 360 will be in playable form, and will hopefully be effective in garnering the interest and support of the European gaming crowd.

Square Enix will have characters already created and ready to use at their own stand, where they'll allow players to explore a few areas of Vana'diel in their demonstration. Lucky fans will benefit from a Leipzig giveaway that'll net them a new CD-ROM which will hold an entirely new trailer for the game, in addition to a free download link to a trial version of the game.

The Germany Game Convention website can be found by clicking here (a link to the English version of the site can be found in the upper-right corner of the page).
