• Final Fantasy XIII-2 DLC

This week saw the release of two brand new pieces of Final Fantasy XIII-2 DLC in the form of an outfit each for Serah and Noel.

With all the beaches the team visit in XIII-2, Square decided Serah was a little overdressed for the occasion and decked her out in this Beachwear outfit. That or they know their target audience all too well. I think she's been spending too much time with the Gullwings from FFX-2 personally.

This is Noel in his Spacetime Guardian outfit. I don't know if I'd be particularly impressed if a young man dressed like that showed up at my house to pick up my daughter but there we are. Also maybe it's just me, but I'm getting some Kingdom Hearts Riku vibes from the ensemble.

These babies can be yours for 240 Microsoft Points each, or else $2.99/£1.59/€1.99 each.

Following on from that, next week will see the release of Sazh: Heads or Tails?

It will star everyone's favourite XIII character Sazh in a new story questline that will run parallel to the events in XIII-2. It'll also see the addition of two new card games, Chronobind and Serendipity Poker. It is unconfirmed whether the Frocobo or Dajh will be accompanying Mr. Katzroy on his adventure in the world of gambling. What is confirmed is that you'll be able to add him to your party once you beat his quest.

It's due to retail at 400 Microsoft Points, or $5/£2.99/€3.59.

What does everybody think? Are you excited for these releases? Are they fairly priced? Is it a good thing that a developer is continuing to provide extensive support a game after its release? Or is it just a cynical attempt to extort more cash for an unfinished game?

Serah is hella white. That pink washes her out more so. Maybe that's why she's wearing such revealing clothing, in hopes that she'll get a tan.

I love how they included a garter with her bikini. Because all girls wear garters with their bikini, right? Right?

Ha, that's what I thought too. Yeah, totally a bikini--not lingerie at all. I like the color though. Yeah she's hella white! White is right! (And by that I mean I like being pale. Not "white" as in the race because that would be highly inappropriate.)

It looks like FFX-2 Rikku picked out Serah's clothes.

Pft, the red and black thing that I got along with my game looked cool. You just jelly you don't have the balls to wear something as awesome as that.

Also, where is my noel swimwear? This is totally sexist.

Seriously grossed out by the outfit.

I don't have any problem with bikinis or lingerie, but in the context of having a female wear one of those two things while holding a crossbow? Dumb. Straight up pandering to adolescent fantasy dumb.
