Rumor Roundup: FFXV and FFXII-2?

This pre-E3 week has caused a few interesting rumors to sprout up. XIII Versus re-dubbed to FFXV? Final Fantasy XII is getting a sequel of sorts? Let's dive right in!

FFXIII Versus Changed to FFXV? A New Numbered FF?

Rumor:
A recent video has been making the rounds on the internet this week. It seems to be similar footage of Final Fantasy XIII Versus that we've seen in the past but marked with the Final Fantasy XV logo instead. At the end of the trailer, only Wii U and PS3 were revealed as the consoles. It was in the setting of a conference or classroom, claiming to be a pre-E3 conference.

Gaming website, Kotaku, reached out about this video to Sqaure-Enix themselves. What'd they say about it?

FFXII-2 is Getting a Sequel? Valiant Saga?

Rumor:
An image has sprung up detailing a game called Valiant Saga set in the world of Ivalice. It's adorned with the Square-Enix Trademark.

Evidence:

“Ten years after FINAL FANTASY XII, in the Leá Monde region of Nabradia. A fanatical cult leader has taken up residence in the eldritch Fortress of Faram, above which has suddenly appeared a mysterious floating artefact called the Gate of Lucav. The cult leader believes it to be the gateway to paradise, but an emissary from the northern Holy Ydoran Empire claims it to be an ancient weapon with the power to destroy all of Ivalice. The Queen of Dalmasca, figurehead of the delicate New Alliance, must petition a lone mercenary to infiltrate the fortress and prevent the cult from harnessing the forbidden magicks harnessed within the gate."

Also a twitter account supposedly attached to it.

Fact:
There hasn't been much yet about if there is any truth to this. It could actually exist and be set in the world of Ivalice but not a direct sequel to XII. Various games are already set in this world including Tactics, XII and Vagrant Story; so another one may not be too surprising. We're still discussing this one over in our FFXII section, join us!
