• Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix Announced (PS3)

If you didn't know, the annual Tokyo Game Show is going on right now. Lately, the show has been more and more about mobile games, but we still occasionally get new(ish) game announcements. Like this one.

Revealed in Famitsu magazine, this PS3 collection includes HD versions of KH Final Mix and Re: Chain of Memories. It also has all the cutscenes from KH 358/2 days re-made in HD for your viewing pleasure.

It's set to come out in Japan next year. TGS has just started, so keep an eye out for more news on the various Square Enix franchises.

^ Considering the only KH special edition title SE has ever released outside of Japan was RE:CoM (sold at full game price whereas it was free with KHII Final Mix in Japan) I would say there is pretty much some major clout of the HD Remake never leaving the land of the rising sun.

It doesn't help SE is pretty much notorious for not releasing most of their special edition games outside of Japan despite the base model being the English copy. The only exception is pretty much FFX International Edition and that was only released in Europe besides Japan.
