• Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Beta to Start on February 25

    The wait is almost over! Square-Enix has announced that the beta test of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will begin on February 25, 2013. That is, somewhat surprisingly, not too far off the original estimated start date of mid-February.

    Beta invitations have also been sent out, with more to come. If you haven’t applied for the beta test yet, there’s still time to do so at the application site.

      I can't wait for beta. Star Wars:TOR just isn't doing it for me.

      It's a shame the NDA exists so we can't organise which Beta Worlds we will be going to, should we happen to get Beta codes.

      On a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT NOTE: Moogles are pretty cool.

      It's kind of silly that the NDA restricts people from identifying themselves as beta testers. Granted, anyone should have a pretty good guess. I mean, if someone has mentioned in the past that they are a Legacy Member, for example, you would know that they're in the beta and could send them a PM to discuss their plans.

      Theoretically, you could figure out who is in the beta by their number of vague 'I-have-a-seeeecret' posts about the beta.
