• What's on in Eorzea: Otherworldly Visitors


    Hear ye, hear ye all adventurers, crafters or AFK'ers. The latest round of limited duration events have just kicked off in Eorzea. If you've been living under a rock, or just managed to miss the little communication about them, then fear not - we've got your back and server latency won't cause our Cover to miss!

    The much awaited Dragon Quest X and FINAL FANTASY XI crossover events are underway. These little events give players a chance to meet up with some familiar faces, do some FATEs and get two limited edition exclusive minions as a reward!



    Dragon Quest X Event: Breaking Brick Mountains
    Duration: Tuesday, 21st January 2014 from 10:00am until Monday, 3rd February 2014 at 2:59pm (all times GMT+/-0)

    The Dragon Quest X events sees both hardened and fresh adventurer's alike searching for the band of mysterious new golems that have been sighted in the scorching deserts of Thanalan. Fans of the Dragon Quest series may recognise these golems as the Brickman.

    To start your investigation simply talk too Havak Alvak, stationed near the Chocobo Porter in Ul'dah, Steps of Nald.



    Once found he will direct you to participate in the FATEs for this event which can be found at.

    Central Thanalan, Sil'dih Excavation Site


    Lower La Noscea, Blind Iron Mines



    Upper La Noscea, Camp Bronze Lake



    Central Shroud, Bentbranch Meadows



    North Shroud, Finders' Bluff


    The event reward's players with a Thug Mug cosmetic helm, that has some nice stats for a level 10 on it (pretty much +1 of everything) and minature Brickman companion pet.




    FINAL FANTASY XI Event: Burgeoning Dread
    Duration: Tuesday, 21st January 2014 from 10:00am until Monday, 3rd February 2014 at 2:59pm (all times GMT+/-0)

    Shantotto, the lovable crazed Tarutaru Black Mage from the land of Vana'diel has found her way to Eorzea.

    Khole Bajhiri in New Gridania has some reports of strange occurrences that are taking place throughout Eorzea.



    The FATEs for this event can be found in the following places.

    East Shroud, Fullflower Comb


    South Shroud, Camp Tranquil


    Western Thanalan, Horizon


    Southern Thanalan, Forgotten Springs


    Middle La Noscea, Foremast


    Eastern La Noscea, Costa del Sol


    An adorable mini-Shanttoto companion pet awaits players who take part in this event.

    Remember, these events are limited duration and once they end these rewards will not be obtainable again. So get them while you can!
