    Square Enix just announced on their facebook that they will be teaming up with Deviantart for a Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII art contest!
    On the Deviant art Facebook they stated:

    "Be on the lookout - you won't want to miss this contest! In celebration of LIGHTNING RETURNS: FINAL FANTASY XIII, we're partnering with Square Enix to give deviants a once-in-a-lifetime chance to design a complete customization of Lightning! Submissions begin on launch day, 2/11/14, and we can't wait to reveal who will be a judge."


    Now it's unclear if by "complete customization" they mean an outfit for LR or just for the art contest. Of course Eyes on FF will make sure to keep our own deviantArt members excited for this event.

    We'll keep you updated but for now, EoFF artist, be on your toes! Your love for both FF and art may get some much needed rewards.

      I don't know if the world is ready for the stick figure Lightning I would draw for this.

      Pretty cool competition and I'm curious to see what all contestants come with. A bit of a shame I'm not fond of the character in question, but I'll keep an eye on the results

      Pretty cool that the winner might get their design made into an actual costume, if that's what this means. Hopefully so. Reminds me of the KH competition where Kurt Zisa got his name put into the game as a boss. Looking forward to seeing what designs pop up.

      I just made this. First time I used Photoshop. What do I win?

      My real entry going to be a stick figure version of me cosplaying as Lightning cosplaying as Cloud. I just have to stop being lazy for about 1 minute so I can draw it. As you can see, I can art.
