• PS4 release of Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster

    Oh internet, we love how quick you catch things. Square-Enix Boutique, the french store for Square Enix products had Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster for the PS4 accidentally published.

    The game was previously released on Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita in March 2014. The accidental upload had the cover art with the PS4 logo on it as well as a brief description. It had a release of "Spring 2015" on the posting as well. The page was quickly taken down but you can get to it here, it gives you a 404 though.



    Thanks to the website Controller Crusade we were able to get this information.

    What is your opinion of a PS4 release of this game. DO you think there will be anything different? Or is it another attempt to get fans of the series to buy another remake?

      Pros - If you only own a PS4, it's a great to finally get the HD version
      Cons - If you own it on the PS3/Vita, no point buying it again.

      It's just having it more available to more people which is fine.

      I still haven't bought a copy yet, so having the option to get it on PS4 is good news.

      I'll wait until this comes out and then I'll get it for the Vita, even though I have both consoles. Because controversy! :3

      because the amount of work required for those two are totally comparable to rereleasing an already remastered game on PS4.

      It'll be the exact same game, but with 1080p graphics instead of 720p. Don't bother.

      Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster confirmed for PS4 with 'system-exclusive features'

      Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will come to PlayStation 4 early next year.

      The official press release from Square Enix mentions the PS4 port will contain “system-exclusive features,” yet there are no details on what those might be.

      Except that the more money this makes.....the more likely we get FFX-3

      Ya but you don't understand FFX-3 is super realistic and cool.

      Yuna wakes up and you find out all of FFX-2 was a dream......you then find out that since FFX Yuna has developed a victim complex, where she can do no wrong... takes advantage of all her friends, and dates Bros with flat bill hats.

      The plot revolves around going to college, working at the coffee shop, and dodging responsibility.

      I saw a demo script for it...
