• [D23 2015] Big Hero 6 World Confirmed for Kingdom Hearts III

    Today during Disney's D23 convention producer Shinji Hashimoto announced that San Fransokyo, the setting of the Academy Award-winning Disney film Big Hero 6, along with its loveable cast, will be making an appearance in Kingdom Hearts III.

    The story is set to follow the events of the movie instead of recapping them with Sora & co. integrated into it (like in KHII), so expect some interesting twists to the world of Big Hero 6! As illustrated in the concept art, Sora will most likely end up battling a Heartless version of Baymax, while riding on the back of the robot.

      Oh yeah. That would definitely be awesome. I loved the inclusion of the Behemoth Heartless in KHI. Maybe we could get Ozma or Omega?

      Jungle Book would be a fun world! Toy Story would be great. Shrinking Sora down to toy size like when he had to go through the rabbit hole in Alice in Wonderland! Also it would make sense with the recent announcement of Toy Story 4

      I wonder if we'll ever get some of the non-musical classics like The Great Mouse Detective, The Aristocats, Robin Hood, Sword and the Stone, or The Rescuers.

      Well, Merlin is a key recurring character in the series so maybe a SitS world is not out of the question.

      Oh great, do I need to go and watch all of the Pixar crap I've deliberately avoided for the last decade? C'mon Squenix. You still haven't done all of the classics. There'd better be some Robin Hood in this!

      You'd better believe it! I was being a tad facetious though. They are good, I'm just not overly into their stuff and prefer the traditional Disney stuff.
      I think Frozen was great though, that was 3D animated. It just felt more disney-like than pixar-like. It's more about the types of stories and characters to me.

      Btw, did anyone else notice that Tangled is in this too? It was in the E3 video, but hardly anyone seems to have noticed it.

      We noticed! But it has been a few months now since it was announced. Big Hero 6 is just the newest one to get hyped about.
