• Final Fantasy XV release & pre order dates, Ultimate Collector's Edition

    With the news of the Final Fantasy XV release date, pre-orders for the Deluxe and Ultimate Collector's Editions of the game will start at 9PM Pacific Time March 30th, 2016.

    The Ultimate Collector's Edition, which is a Square Enix Online Store Exclusive, will only be available to 30,000 worldwide. It will feature bonus content, such as the Royal Raiment outfit, the Masamune, and a Platinum Leviathan recolor for the car. There will be in game item packs (shown in the pic above. There's also a 192 page artbook, an exclusive Noctis figurine, and steelbook soundtracks as well as the game.

    The game will be out September 30, 2016 for PS4 and XBOXONE.

      Quick question, anybody know if you have to pay the price immediately, or when it ships?

      I have the info ready, just have to hit order now. I can't pay for it now. $314 USD is a goddamn fortune in silly Canadian dollars. I can afford it by September though...

      When I wrote this up, they only had links to download the standard versions. I imagine everyone rushed to get on & they weren't ready.

      I just bought it...I am smurfed, especially when current exchange rate goes through. Nearly the price of my PS4? Hopefully only charge when it ships and better exchange rates?

      On PSN go to the Store, look up FFXV and download the demo from the game's page. It will be right under the pre-order button!

      I am too. I promised my girlfriend I'd play it with her though when it was available. Since the leak said it would be available tomorrow (Thursday), I assumed that. Oh well, something to look forward to tomorrow!

      Gotta go through Episode Duscae again too. Hell I might even actually play FF Type-0 now. xD

      Just streamed it. Graphics at some point were nothing special. I mean - it is beautiful but games are in general able to be very beautiful these days. In the town the water I have seen which was totally blue looked disappointingly undetailed. Still, overall it looks very good and seems interesting. I definitely have to practive the combat more.

      That is my impression.
