• Holiday Pack DLC for Final Fantasy XV

Square Enix announced a new "Holiday Pack" DLC for Final Fantasy XV. Yup! Lots of goodies for everyone. There are two versions, the Holiday Pack+ and just the Holiday Pack. We'll be getting it come December 22nd. So just next week! "Oh but dear Freya", you may ask, "what does it include?" Well, reader, lots of things!

First off, we are actually getting the New Game Plus ability. After you clear the game you will be able to start over at the level you had ended the game with. So have fun with blowing through content that way!

Secondly, Social Media Frames! Yeah, some of us are very excited about this, okay. You will get new frames to put around the images that you're sharing via social media. That way, Prompto's beautiful photography can be legitimized via a frame.

These are both included in just a content path so you wont need to purchase anything! But wait.... there's moreeee!

The Holiday Pack DLC is free but the Holiday Pack+ is only available to those who get the season pass. It will include items that increases item acquisition rates, lowers stamina consumption, and other useful things! It also comes with a ticket for a carnival. A what? Yes a Mog Choco Carnival! What this will entail, we don't know yet. But look at the balloons! The actual carnival will take place in late-Janurary.

Does the Mog Choco Hat exist in real life and where can I get eight?

Maybe it's just me, but I think those designs look pretty terrible..

Slightly interested in what the content outside of the costumes are though.

Not even the hat? You think that is a horrible hat?

The Mariachi hat is pretty bad, yeah. The Moogle hat is just okay to me.

I'd rather they just make costumes of past Final Fantasy costumes for the game. Or better yet, not even make costumes at all and devote all their resources towards improving the game. I know costumes take hardly any development time, but there's no way I'll ever purchase one.

I don't know man, having the whole party dressed as a Mariachi band driving around Eos to perform in Fantasy Mexican Restaurants can be considered a fun improvement over the original game.

Different things for different people - I'm not really into any of the existing alternative outfits and these two, while amusing, aren't the kind I'd have the characters wear for more than just a few moments as a giggle.

Looking forward to any new content though, such as whatever this carnival thing is.

Honestly, if the whole party got Mariachi outfits and they switched Noctis' sword with a guitar for him to fight with, I'm sold on that DLC, that is just too hilarious for words.
