Popular Japanese gaming news magazine Famitsu has revealed that Final Fantasy VIII will be following in the footsteps of Final Fantasy VII and will be getting a re-released PC version. Not many details are known right now but according to Famitsu the remastered version will have boosts similar to those found in the remastered Final Fantasy VII PC re-release along with Achievements.

It's May! Yes nearly half the year has flown, or maybe crawled, by already. Nobuo Uematsu has celebrated his birthday. Easter has come and gone and the nights are getting brighter and shorter. If you're in Ireland like me those nights are occasionally getting drier and warmer too... However we're not out of the woods yet and there's still some chugging along to do before summer is truly upon us. Battle on my friends!

Square Enix have revealed that they are releasing a DLC heavy edition of Final Fantasy XIII-2 in Japan on July 18th. The two editions - 'Digital Contents Edition' and 'Ultimate Hits' will feature an array of the downloadable content all bundled together.

Now I'm going to go out on a whim here and say that many of you lovely readers are familiar with the game Vagrant Story. I mean, you're all quite nerdy - being on a Final Fantasy forum and all, and well, this game is from a time when gaming was quite possibly at it's finest, or at least getting there.
