I'm not sure at all. I think it's mandatory there too but if you don't want to go to army you get off easier than with 13 months of community service. But I don't know, we should ask Ultima Shadow.
Isn't it kinda like that in Sweden too? I think I was talking to someone about this before...
No idea. The Finnish army is really small and the equipment is so obsolete it doesn't even make any sense for us to have an independent army. Still every boy/man who is over 18 must do it. It's more like a "man school" than army.

I didn't decide, it's mandatory in Finland. You either go to the army for 6-12 months or do community service for 13 months :P

Meh, not much. I'm having the worst sleep pattern ever and I'm going to the army on monday. There I'm supposed to wake up at 6am and currently I go sleeping at 8am... But I think the army will help me get some sense into it. How 'bout you?
