I ended up giving him to a friend. It's not fair that I keep him locked up in a tiny cage 24/7, and I'm not home very much. Buying him on impulse out of loneliness was a pretty stupid thing for me to do, in retrospect. Either way, he's at a friendly home where he's being taken care of and given lots of attention that I couldn't provide.
