I remember seeing on Facebook not too long ago that you had finished a novel, or were in the process of getting it published. How's that going? I'm still very interested in reading your history book of the future.

Nope, nothing published yet! I'm still editing and polishing the first one, but I do hope I can start sending manuscripts out sometime relatively soon. I bet I won't get anywhere with it but you gotta try! xD
Oh cool! So you've gotten the first one published? What's it called? I'd like to check it out. The one you're writing now sounds interesting too, you should let me know when you finish it. Was your fantasy novel ever published or was that just for fun? I'm writing a novel as well... kind of. Mostly doing a lot of research and world creating at this point. I have a feeling it will turn into a lifelong project.
Sure! The one I wrote when I was a teenager was pretty crap but it was a fantasy thing, lots of prophecy etc., a living goddess, all that stuff. Tried to pack too much into one thing and, which is more, I wasn't very good at writing The one I wrote last year is a popular history book from far in the future, charting the course of humanity's ascent to the stars and what we do once we're there. It's very optimistic, I expect many will think unreasonably so, but then that was the point. The one I'm currently writing is about a colony ship which loses all contact with every other human object in existence (No aliens have been met in this setting) and they're trying to carry on on a new world, but that quickly becomes challenging for them without the subsequent colony ships.
