So I just beat the Witcher 3 yesterday. The last expansion, I mean. No more Witcher for me. I am devastated. I highly recommend it if you want to have the best moment of your life and then feel like someone you love just died

Heh, thanks Interestingly, in the beginning it had more instruments, but I couldn't really get the feeling I wanted with the strings. I'm actually really happy that my wife advised me to go more minimalistic, since the way it is now it just fits much better into what Psy told me he wanted - a cautiously hopeful town. So in a way, the harmonic minimalism is pretty intentional.
I shared the town theme with some friends. One comment I got back: "It's not bad. Feels...kind of like if you asked Grant Kirkhope to compose for an RPG. One thing, though: It does feel kind of...empty. Like it needs more harmonic depth, and another instrument or two to support what's already there." Thought you might want some feedback/advice.
I don't classify it as an original track though - it's just an arrangement
The shop theme is good as well, but being a take on the Chocobo theme, it is naturally derivative.
