The reasoning is like I said, we are more face to face, hence why human faces are so different, as we use faces more than anything else to differentiate between one person and another. Orgasm is incentive for what? Reproduction?
An interesting theory. My only argument is why would there need to be a replacement? After all the orgasm is more motivation.
Sex therapists and anthropologists have postulated that breasts are a replacement for the buttocks. Since most mammals reproduce via the tried and true doggie style method, and humans have evolved to walk upright and identify with faces more, breasts are apparently to maintain male attention while assuming face to face positions. This is evidenced in both the aforementioned attraction as well as with the amount of supurfluous fat that composes the breast.
The male preoccupation with breasts confounds me. Although they are fun to handle.
