Yeah the Darkmoon Saga was Season 2. It will be cool to see the S arc done. Though I'm looking forward to SuperS and Stars as the original anime adaption of those seasons are pretty awful compared to the manga version of the stories.
Does the stuff with the Black Moon qualify as Season 2? Because it all felt like one big season to me. I heard they plan to cover the Infinity Arc next, so I'm excited to see Uranus, Neptune, and Saturn in the new art style.
I haven't finished it, hell I haven't even finished the first season but I'm enjoying it. I loved the manga version of Sailor Moon so the story changes to reflect a more accurate adaption don't really bother me. The animation is nice (when the animators don't make silly gaffes) but I still prefer the original anime and manga styles. The 3D elements are still kind of jarring...
Ranma 1/2 was my formal introduction to anime. My informal introduction was Pokemon, before I even knew what anime was. What's your thoughts on Sailor Moon Crystal so far? Overall the new anime seemed to have divided the fanbase quite a bit.
That's pretty sweet. I've been pretty low key with anime lately. One Piece, JoJo's Bizarre Adventures, One-Punch Man, and Sailor Moon Crystal are the only current series I'm following. Lately I've been focusing on collecting older series I grew up with like Galaxy Express 999, Project A-Ko, and Ranma 1/2.
Cool. My mom has the entire Indiana Jones collection. She's a pretty big Harrison Ford fan. I've been watching a lot more anime too since my brother moved back in. Good Luck Girl and Haganai, mostly. I forget the name of the other one, but there are mechs, a dark elf, and an academy where the mech pilots go to learn, and men are rare, royalty talks in 'we' and 'us' speech, and it's a spin-off of another anime.
Draining, I have mostly money and a gift card for Gamestop. My biggest haul was DVDs as I got a copy of the Indiana Jones Films (something I've been meaning to collect for ages) both seasons of Courage the Cowardly Dog, and the anime and manga of JoJo's Bizarre Adventures.
So, thanks to a friend, Mom, and a giveaway, I now have Final Fantasy Type-0, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and the Final Fantasy III Remake (and that's just the Square side of things). How was your Christmas?
