  1. It's bad when the person who started the whole thing starts to think they're going too far in the asshole department.
  2. Yeah, a man took a rather long time getting around to the Game of Thrones theme this time for some reason. Mostly because a man didn't want to part with V, a man thinks. A man will probably go back to him when the Game of Thrones theme ends.

That was pretty hilarious in a karmic justice kind of way. Although I think he was excommunicated, uncharacteristically, for encouraging them not to be such assholes about something or other which isn't quite as funny.
  3. Hopefully. I found it funny he was excommunicated from the church before he died.

    Hey, we match now.
  4. I'm sure my lack of interactions with people hasn't helped much either. idk. And yeah they're obviously media whores but you've got to think that without their founder they might be somewhat less relevant/tenacious.
  5. Depends. I always figured they just did all of this crap for the media attention and that's the only reason they're still relevant today. It's why I generally don't talk about them.

I need to start seeking out places I can go to out here to actually interact with live people. I'm going crazy cooped up inside this house all day.
  6. Of course they are Hopefully with Fred Phelps' death they just start to wither away though
  7. If they're out there they're in hiding like I was. It seems my state is becoming well known for a lot of things
    Corn
    Farms
    Tornadoes
    Sam Brownback's stupidity
    The WBC

Yes, the WBC are out here.
  8. To be fair there a lot of christians who aren't as obnoxious about their beliefs, but they don't seem to get nearly as much press :/ I can't imagine you'd encounter many of that kind in Kansas though
  9. Last time I was in a church was for a wedding. I imagine that'd be the only times you'd see me in a church these days. I find myself believing less and less and the attitude of the average Christian I meet out here doesn't help to sway me to reconsider my stances.
  10. Yeah, it's pretty hypocritical of them to complain about things like that. I stopped going to church probably thirteen years ago, and grew out of believing around ten years ago
