I think the sheeple just need to be forced out of their conformity. Give a child a loaded gun and it's dangerous. Give an adult a loaded gun and explain the gun to him, and it's no longer dangerous (in the same way, at least. This is ignoring psychopaths haha). But people don't want to learn. People don't want to take responsibility. So you make them. Give them something they can't shrug off.
The media has to take a lot of responsibility for a lot of different problems in our society. There's too many lies and half-truths reported. I especially hate when they use scare tactics to make people conform. Even better when the information and data they use is skewed, or fabricated entirely. But then of course we have the sheeple. They don't help the situation either.
Most people complain about things being removed or changed, because they don't think for themselves and blindly follow the newspapers when they day you can get divorced at supermarkets, or that the government are letting murderers back onto the streets. People are the reason democracy fails. People, and ty newspapers that don't report the news, only bias.
There's so many different areas that need to be fixed, or even things that should be added/removed. Sometimes I wonder how we have self-destructed But then again, it works for a reason. Someone had the right idea, just didn't pull it together quite well enough.
I just think those with more money should pay a greater percentage tax. And it shouldn't be a normal normal normal MASSIVE JUMP. It should be a steadily progressive tax. A small percentage more for each pound more.
My favourite argument includes someone everyone can relate to. Robin Hood Though I stole it from someone who didn't really know what they were talking about. Communism is equality controlled by the government, right? Well Robin Hood still wanted equality, those damn rich being rich! *shakes fist*
Democracy is a idea, that works best in practice. Everything else is a good idea, that fails miserably in practice. It's mental.
smurf Democracy! It's a flawed system, full of corruption and ignorance. It hasn't really been that much more beneficial when compared to monarchies and dictatorships in the past. Of course there are some instances you don't want to compare them to xD
But you can't do that in a democracy.
Sometimes people don't know what's best for them. That's where you have to bite the bullet and force them to be benefitted!
