The person who wrote that song—Dee Dee Ramone—died of a heroin overdose. There are still surviving Ramones: CJ, Markey, Richie, and Tommy; however, Tommy was the only one of these who was around for the original I Don’t Wanna Walk Around With You. I’m pretty sure the song was written about Dee Dee’s girlfriend at the time, who was a prostitute.
