Conversation Between Fynn and Skyblade

  1. I don't think so.

On grinding, I'm also kinda worried. Some of my characters (Donnel included) are in a really low level compared to others and so far, all I've seen were two optional battles and two sub-scenarios where I can level up outside of story battles. Is there any other way to grind?

Also, when will my characters be able to switch classes? I feel like I still don't understand a lot
  2. Kind of. Aptitude is a fantastic skill on its own, and really boosts stat growths. Donnel can reclass into the Mercenary class, which is one of the three best classes in the game. But it depends on how much work you're putting into things. If you're grinding or doing DLCs, he's more likely to reach his full value. Also, keep Aptitude as the last skill he has. It doesn't affect a ton, but it can really help another character later, depending on choices you make.

Have you made any S-rank Supports?
  3. Is Donnel worth investing my time into?
  4. Advice: Frederick is really powerful early on, but he won't get as much Exp, because he's already a promoted class. Abuse the Pair Up system. ALWAYS be Paired Up (it unlocks at Chapter Three). It's very powerful, and your main character even gets extra Exp when paired. Pay attention to the weapon triangle. Stay grouped up, there are no AOE attacks in this game.
  5. So I've started Firw Emblem. Playing on normal mode, classic. I keep having to reload because my characters keep dying. I've come to the conclusion that I must really suck at games
  6. He tries to get her to stop, but he only does this by literally ordering her to stop (and, as anyone who knew Edea at all would tell you, that wouldn't possibly work). He never attempts to explain anything about any of the issues going on, or tell her why he believes there's a threat to the Crystals being Awakened. As soon as she doesn't just drop her weapons, he goes out to kill her. No capture, no leniency.

World Two's Braev does much the same thing. He takes about five lines of dialogue trying to explain the threat, then goes straight to calling for her head.

Each world's Braev does get more and more reasonable (as do most of the people he surrounds himself with, which also show him as a better man and a better leader). In World Three he is specifically giving orders to capture rather than kill, and the last world is literally just a test to train Agnès for the battle ahead.

    But the first world? Nope.
  7. That's not really how I remember it, but it's been a while since I played the game, so I can't really comment on it, sorry. I thought he did seem reluctant to fight Edea. But what can I say.
  8. World One's Braev doesn't really, though. He doesn't feel anything for anyone. He shows no remorse for any of the subordinates who have been slaughtered during the journey. He doesn't shed a tear for Kamiizumi or bat an eye before trying to kill Edea. He's completely wrapped up in the vengeance scheme against the Orthodoxy, and he has no feelings for anyone who either gets in the way of it, or is killed because of it.
  9. I guess you could say he's... On your "black as pitch" list
  10. Well, I still stand by my opinion. What he did was terrible, I agree, but I still think his reaction was human. And I do kinda feel for him, even though I really want to stop him. He's misguided, ruthless, but I would not call him a sociopath as he clearly feels.
