It's weird how that works sometimes. And I'm kinda weird that Undertale touched me so much. I mean, it was fine, but I didn't expect it to reach me in such a huge manner and that I;d really feel it two days later. Kinda funny what triggers you sometimes. And here I thought I'd never feel anything with regard to fiction. Still, let's keep on truckin;'; then! Back to work! We'll get this done! We'll stay determined!
It's good you got some motivation from it! I actually got a surge from watching the BF play Corpse Party: Blood Drive. Not because of the story but because of the narration style. Meshed with me for some reason.
I know EXACTLY what you mean. But somehow, and I can't really explain why, but after beating Undertale I got this surge of creativity for some reason. AND THANKS! I BELIEVE IN YOU TOO! DON'T GIVE UP HOPE EITHER! REMEMBER THAT EVERY BODY OF CREATIVE WORK IS DONE THROUGH A LOT OF TEARS AND PAIN THAT YOU JUST CAN'T SEE WITH THE END RESULT!
Knowing your forum BFF is working on her novel, it fills you with DETERMINATION. Seriously though I'm torn between thinking its dumb and wanting to burn it, and wanting others to read it so I can know what they think of the story I've been writing in my head my whole life. YOU CAN DOS IT FYNN, I BELIEVE IN YOU DON'T GIVE UP HOPE
Ugh, I know that feel. But hey, at least you're editing it. I'm trying to write it and keep getting distracted. I need more determination.
Yeah it was a spoiler thing. Characters like Undyne are introduced as antagonists, for example, so I figured it was best to leave some surprise I'm editing my story but ugh I feel stupid about it. Oh editing
Though I was honestly surprised that you didn't have a character section in your review! Did you ommit it to avoid spoilers, or did none of them grab you quite enough?
I heard she's actually a guest design by one of the Kickstarter backers who donated enough money to get her design in. I think she's actually some web comic artist. So that's pretty cool. And yeah, the spiders clapping to the rhythm got me.
It probably was the battle. The music and everything complemented it perfectly and it was just so immersing. It's a shame you don't see her too much
Well, Papyrus is insanely likable, so no surprises there, and Muffet has one of the coolest designs and one of the most memorable big-killed alligator moments I can think of in a video game. Plus, her music is awesome and her battle is super fun.
