No, they were always playable in SFIII, it's Guile and Chun Li who were made playable in later versions.

I started with Street Fighter II and the Alpha series is my favorite Street Fighter franchise. I also play Ryu/Ken/Akuma but I also dabble with Blanka, E. Honda, and characters like Ibuki and Dudley from SFIII
You play those street fighter games like "Street Fighter II" or "Street Fighter Alpha"? I uses Akuma, Ryu or Ken. Yes, I only know those easy characters. Shooting fire balls and using that upper cut attack. lol. I use chun li too. Her legs are so awesome!

Yes, but not much lately. For some reason I've moved away from fighting games. Partially cause I'm not focused on it and partially because most of my friends are tournament grade players and whoop my ass all the time at them.
