So... it's a metalcore band?
Yeah, I don't really have any *talented* emo friends, so I'm kind of collaborating with my friends to make a band with emocore singing and metal/hardcore guitars and drums. It should turn out pretty well.
At least you're going to be in a band, I still don't know enough metal people to make a band yet. I may have to take up drums and Burzum it.
Right. That's just what a band needs: a high-pitched singer with stage fright, center stage. >_<

Indeed they do, but I'm starting to think the electric guitar just isn't my thing. I might be in a band one day soon, and the shredding will go to my friend Phil, who is amazing. I'll stick to vocals (mostly falsetto and some screaming) and acoustic guitar. Not very metal or hardcore, but why mess with what I'm good at?
I've been playing since January, I practice at least an hour a day. Guitars rock.
A year and a half. Everything I can do I taught myself. I'm considering getting lessons once I get a job.
