It's kinda similar with my cats. They used to play-wrestle a lot, but they don't nowadays and Frank beats Suzy up sometimes, but she's like completely unfazed by it. Frank gets super jealous too. But when Suzy was away for a couple of days one time, Frank was very alert, would barely sleep and kept walking around the house looking for her. So I guess "like" might be a strong word, but he does feel something like "I guess I'd be a bit upset if you died"
Aww she's pretty! They do play together sometimes. Martin is a jealous jealerson though so they also fight sometimes. But they like each other in their own way. I'm sorry you miss your kitties

She's just the cutest, fluffy and affectionate, and whenever she wants your attention she'll just brush you with her paw so gently you can barely feel it They're both with my parents now, though, and I really miss them
