xD
Btw, I just remembered this. Persona has some obnoxious fans (especially those who only got introduced through P3 and 4 - I know you and I were like that too, but we're not obnoxious; bear with me XD). So they were really angry at SMT IV because it wasn't Persona which was kinda weird because the series is now kinda its own thing? Anyways, I remember when FFIV The After Years came out on iOS and everyone on some forum was like "ugh, that UI is hideous; SE really needs to learn from Atlus". And I'm like The flashy UIs is basically Persona's trademark and FF has used its own style of UI for years and it's more function over style. And now suddenly these guys discovered Persona and they're like "BEST GAEM" and "EVERYTHING THATS NOT PERSONA IS LAAAAAAAAAAAAME" I mean, you can smell the teen from miles away
Well I'm glad you're excited about it
I'm actually more and more pumped for the game with every trailer. I get that it looks more gray, but it may just be the weather at that time, since there were earlier screens from the game where there was a lot more sun (plus, you know, this time it's Tokyo, so there's more gray buildings and stuff). I just love how alive the world feels and that demons are back and that you have a cat with you, and I'm really confident the characters, story, and themes will all be great, considering how great in that regard P3 and P4 were. Plus, dungeons look waaaaaaaaaaay better from before. Platforming/stealth elements aside, no more randomly generated floors - with all the puzzles and maps it looks way more like something from a Zelda game, which is just terrific in my eyes. But yeah, that's just my opinion and you're entitled to yours. I need to play it and will probably get it day-one if I manage to get my hands on a PS4 before then, so after I beat it I should be able to tell whether I can recommend it to you or not XD
What are you apologizing for? This really has no influence on my life whatsoever, I was just surprised and wanted to know XD
Sorry xD
Cool
The visuals are much darker and the colour scheme hurts my eyes. None of the characters interest me in the least. The effects look bad to me. I don't like the more action/platformyness it seems to have going on. There's just... really nothing there to interest me. I liked the other two Personas I played, but even then I liked them enough to play once, so the series was already on thin ice with me, so to speak. It just seems to be going more in a direction that doesn't appeal to me. Who knows, when it comes out I might see more to get me interested. For now, not so much
Out of curiosity, what exactly do you dislike about the stuff you've seen of Persona 5 so far? I don't mean to criticize you or anything, I'm just curious, because you liked the previous games alright and it's done by the same people, and it looks like all the social stuff is still there, plus there's a cat with you at all times
