Yes, but it's been YEARS. I'm pretty sure I was a teenager the last time I played it. I can appreciate the writing and cinematography a lot more now. I use cinematography loosely since I'm not sure if it can be applied to video game cut-scenes or not.
You've played before, right? Gosh I love that game. Makes me want to play it again, but I already have enough games going
It's easy to see why. The whole opening bit leading up to the logo was so well done it easily trumps the opening of VII and VIII for me. I've only sank four hours into it and already so much has happened.

I don't suppose you would be interested to read what I have so far? I think I would feel better if I at least got it out to one person.
I wish I could help you figure out a solution but I have my own story I'm not motivated enough to write, so I sadly don't have any advice
