Conversation Between Ayen and Wolf Kanno

  1. Oh no, it completely ends on a cliffhangar in more ways than one. I actually picked up AC2 because of it.
  2. Wasn't the plot in the first game originally self-contained or something? Or at least, came across as something you couldn't stretch out into a franchise? That's what I heard, anyway.
  3. Lol, it's not a bad series per say but I do feel the annual release schedule has done more harm for the franchise than good.
  4. I only played II and III. It's one of those game series that I like, but don't feel strongly enough about to go out of my way to play the other entries. In fact, had II and III never been requested I probably never would've played them.

    I'm a gamer's hipster. I like mah old games.
  5. Don't even get me started on AC. I still haven't gotten around to playing ACIV.
  6. With some games it's not even worth it playing out of order.

  7. I'm usually bad about playing games in order but it might have more to do with needing variety. Yeah it just bugs me when I'm missing a piece though.
  8. Don't you just hate that need to play in chronicle order? I tried doing that with Final Fantasy back when there was no way to play Final Fantasy III.
  9. I have the second game but not the first so I haven't played it yet because I want to go in order.
  10. I played a bit of it to test if it was working. It's on my 'to review' list at some point. I got my hands on the Resident Evil for Game Boy, too. Ooh, and Metroid II. I have all the old Metroid games now.

Your post reminded me I still need to look into the Acid series.
