  1. Yeah they have, but like all things Marvel, it'll happen eventually.
  2. Haven't they been saying that since the end of Origins, though?
  3. Well, soon he's going to have his own movie, & Reynolds is supposed to get another shot @ it, which I think he should.
  4. I think watching a buttload of Japanese movies may have something to do with my point of view.

Deadpool ended so poorly. Ryan Reynolds played him perfectly according to my brother (who is the Deadpool expert in my family since he read the comics and all that) and he could have easily stolen the show away from Wolverine if he had more screen time. Fox must have saw that too so they decided to butcher his character instead.
  5. @ foot clan & shredder. Yeah, IDK if the Silver Samurai got the best treatment, but I don't feel it took away from the movie @ all. I thought the movie had plenty of intrigue & humor & of course it was in Japan, which was awesome enough. The only part of Origins I hated was the Deadpool stuff @ the end. It's like they said, "Let's take this beloved character & wipe our rear ends w/ him." Thankfully, his solo movie will ignore the end of Origins.

I should also mention that I love the chick who played Silverfox. They need to somehow bring her back.
  6. I found myself liking Origins Wolverine more than The Wolverine to be honest. The Wolverine could have been great, but even after he lost his powers I didn't feel like he was ever in any real danger, even when he was performing open heart surgery on himself. The plot was predictable and the supporting cast felt more like archtypes than characters. The climax near the end came across as Wolverine going toe to toe with the Foot Clan and Shredder.
  7. No, he wasn't. I thought he was good. In fact, even though it might be the worst of the X-Men movies, it wasn't really bad @ all. I liked Liev Schreiber (sp?) as Sabretooth better than the guy from X-1.
  8. I didn't think Taylor Kitsch was half bad as Gambit in the first Wolverine movie.
  9. If Jackman plays the role any longer, they'll be stuck w/ the Old Man Logan storylines.

I really hope Channing Tatum or whatever his name is can do the job. I heard he pushed hard for the part, so he better work on his Cajun. & they need to work on the Gambit costume.
  10. Oh, I know. I grew up on the 90's cartoon and some of the comics before the movies even came out. It still annoys me. Probably because I heard they avoided introducing Gambit for so long because his popularity rivals Wolverine's and they didn't want him taking the spotlight away from him. Which is stupid, more stupid considering they put him in his freaking origin movie! I'm not 100% sure if that's true now.

Jackman tires of the role? You're speaking crazy talk.
