Did you know that the eyes of a cat roll about in its head while it’s sleeping, much like human eyes do? I noticed it earlier this afternoon; I was resting on my bed in a crescent shape, with my cat curled up in the center. I noticed that the friction on my chest had caught & pulled back the top of my cat’s head, which opened his eyes a little, but kept him asleep—I assume he was asleep, as he was snoring, which he usually does when he is asleep. I noticed that his eyes were rolling from left to right, and occasionally going cross-eyed, which I found unnatural. Of course, I was instantly concerned & worried—thinking he had contracted some kind of tumor—until I remembered a time when I lifted my brother’s eyelids once while he was sleeping, and noticed his eyes going wild. Mama told me this was normal, and I was able to use that experience as a tool to calm me down where my cat is concerned. I am still going to Google it, though. Just in case.
