I could lie and say I will be more alert next time it comes around, but honest, I would have forgotten all about it by February.
Maybe if they were pretty flowers. I don't like them. I don't know why I'm keeping them alive. I didn't want them. but now that they're here, I couldn't bear to see them shrivel up and die.

Me too. But I can’t help but feel like something’s missing. Hmmm. I must admit that I do not know the date of World Leprosy Day. EDIT: Hell, I missed it.
