So this is what a heart attack born of pure anger feels like.
The characters are the least developed of a cast since VI probably. They get their parts, and they say their things, but for the most part they don't really do much or get dipped into a whole lot. I would say they are immediately likable, but they are nothing special either. 5 of the 6 could be taken away from the game completely and the story could still happen anyway. Even though the plot COULD exist without most of them, that doesn't say they don't fit into the plot, because they do. And they do push it forward sometimes throughout the game, so I guess I shouldn't say that. And Basch does get a few parts dedicated just to him, but really, besides Ashe, that's all any of them get: a few parts. They're good though... I dunno...Quit taking my opinion on XII, because others are saying there's tons of story and character development, and I guess I just didn't see it or something.
I do like X more than XII, but that doesn't say much. Others seem to be loving XII and hailing it the best thing ever. XII does have an adequate plot and characters, I just wish I got to see more of both. It was surprisingly straightforward as well.. But it's massive, fun to play, and very immersive. As a game, it's great stuff. And the story is leagues above what most RPGs ever manage, so it's fine. I loved XII a lot, and I would pay 60 bucks for it anyday. Besides, how else how am I going to cook up VaanxBalthier scenarios if I haven't played the game? /InfoYouWanted
That usernote is so tricky. What's it's problem slipping past all these others. Line cutter. And my lazy is all-powerful. Forgive me for rubbing the fact in your face Mr. Rise, but you will have XII soon enough. It's fun to play, but there's not as many cutscenes (past the beginning) as before, and I miss FFX's constant stopping to develop the characters. I'm such a cutscene whore ;_; Quite a game collection you have ;O! I have most of those too actually But I don't really have any suggestions. When you try and think of something to say, you can't ever think of anything to say, you know?
The free candy days were good ones I was going to participate in the Moon thingie, but I got too lazy to modify my kitty boy's head to 50x50pixels. I'm one of those people. I've had FFXII for a few days now, and it's totally awesome. License Board is my new addiction. It's like drugs...and equally detrimental to my health. Edit: For some reason this user note appeared before the one below it instead of after it. Let it be known I can see the future and knew what was coming.

Since I have no manly pride, I carry mace around with me. And I maced its eyes. Mace is always good...the liquid burning kind, the big spikey ball kind, the Mace Windu kind... It all serves a great purpose.
