Alright, did my part for the giveaway. Good luck!
Sucks looking forward to a game you can't play. I feel that way about Breath of the Wild. I still can't justify buying a "new" system though. Maybe when SMTV drops but even then, I'll have to see how I feel.
They do mention that knowledge of the games between II and III is crucial, so apparently they're at least knowledgeable on the narrative, if not invested. Well who knows. It doesn't matter to me at this point anyway. As hyped as I am for the game, no PS4 means no KHIII. It's one of the reason I;m making this retrospective tbh - to get something out of all this.
Who knows? Maybe its not quite as battrout insane. Or perhaps they're giving it a pass since it's been twelve years since the second game?
It’s just so weird seeing reviewers praising the story so much when even in professional review circles it has been criticized. I honestly don’t know what to expect now
Eh, I'll hold my breath. As a AAA title, I don't genuinely trust glowing reviews. Though I'm sure the game will be fun and good though.
Ok so the reviews are in and they’re all pretty glowing. Like, 90% of the reviewers seem to be saying that, against all odds, this is a conclusion that feels satisfying and ties up pretty much all loose ends. How on earth.
Well, we know that’s Xehanort’s Keyblade is older than he is, so it’s a given it’ll lead into something more. However, I still feel that all this connection business will be saved for the very end of the game. I mean, I trust Nomura’s mart enough to focus on resolution within the game proper.
Never trust what fans say about something, especially on the internet. I mean technically the conclusion is why anyone's here anyway, and frankly this arc has been going on for almost thirteen years now, so I feel it's time to put it to rest. Still I imagine this game is simply going to segue right into the next arc. Perhaps not gracefully, but my perspective on the writing says that par the course by this point.
But I’ll get more into that stuff later in my retrospective
