She does? But honestly, who doesn't. I fangirl over Dunban
Well sure, Shulk and Fiora should be together. But Melia should be supreme queen of Bionis tho Also I never noticed how much Sharla fangirls over Dunban
Haha, you Melia fan girl I liked her. But I'm still all about that Shulk/Fiora pairing
I saw, they look great! Reminded me I need to work on my own drawing Also will be getting Melia soonissshhhshshshshshshshshshsh
That's great! That's really what this game is about and it really helps with immersion! I posted some sketches, btw
I'm super in to Xenoblade this time. I've done much more in the way of relationship building and sidequests and everything
Well I'm glad you enjoyed it!
So on Saturday we watched this Spanish film called Witching and Bitching. And it was so weird. On the one hand, it seemed to not like women very much, but then again, the men were pretty bad too, so I guess it evens out? But still, no matter how uncomfortable I felt with the men just blaming all their problem on women and the fact that there was a bit of gross-out humor, which isn't really my thing, it was still incredibly funny and we just had a blast. It was also surprisingly non-homophobic - one of the male characters turns out to have had a crush on another male character and he says it just as they're about to die, and instead of anyone being grossed out or anything, the other guy says something like "you sure picked a great moment for this!" and everyone else is like super supportive and tell the guy "why can't you say something nice to him for once then?" In the end they end up together and everyone is happy and it's all so off and glorious. I don't think I've ever enjoyed a movie so much in spite of parts of it rubbing me the wrong way. I guess sometimes the good does really outweigh the bad.
Yeah I'll probably end up giving it a try. It's not high priority though so it'll probably be a while. Glad you're digging it!
So I'm digging Soul Hackers. I can't say for sure if you'll like it or not. But it's definitely not a heavy SMT game. Things you might like: - main character is silent but he has a girlfriend in the party who's a pretty sweet character - her interactions with the demon that possesses her are pretty amusing - the group of hackers are a colorful bunch - some demon conversations are amusing - the story is very intriguing - you can customize the difficulty, aside from the usual choice between easy hard and medium you get to decide whether your auto map is fully uncovered from the start or not, or whether you can summon demons regardless of alignment - Hitomi is voiced by Cassandra Lee Morris (Edea) and Nemissa has the voice of Laura Bailey, and you get to hear those two a lot, so that's great Things you may dislike: - yeah, no avoiding demons. You have six spaces in your party and only two of those will be human - your main character and Nemissa. You get to customize both, but you have to rely on demons for the rest of your party. - demons don't level up - you have to fuse them to get better demons, so sorry, you can't keep the Pixie throughout the game - magnetite; basically, the more demons you have summoned at once, the more magnetite you get drained on every step, and when it's zero, you can't summon any more demons and the ones you have get damage every step - all battles and dungeon exploration are in first person - color palette is pretty washed for both character portraits and environments Other stuff that can go either way: - demon loyalty is a thing - do stuff that is in line with their personality, and they'll do everything for you - pretty quick you get a special demon that costs no mag and is fully loyal to you and you can power it up by fusing other demons into it - the game feels very 90s, the UI included. Whether this comes across as dated or retro to you really depends on your preference - character art is done by Doi in 90s anime style. It's not the Kaneko characters you hate so much, and Doi's art is very expressive, but it can feel dated
