Fish and Chips over here is signified with coastal towns. Not that they have to be nice and sunny towns, just that they are coastal. I live on the coast, so it's a perfectly natural. Our beaches are scabby, cold and dirty, for the most part xD
That's actually a pretty good answer, though not one I would expect. I typically associate it with the beach and your country whilst lovely is not known for grand beaches!
