I remember the days when you would log into Yahoo! Messenger. Get on! Or MSN. Whatever it is that you use. Or just respond to my IRC message.
There is a reason I haven't been charged with harassment yet and that's because I do it in the best way possible. Also everybody is having really good ideas, they're impressing me. If they could all be less lazy too we'd be on fire. Oh god I'm freaking excited. Going to have to eat and have a lie down and sleep until things are up and running because IT'S GONNA BE AWESOME.
Well, be sure not to go too hard on them. EoFF is great and all, but you don't want to make people feel like it's a chore, that could drive some members away.
Also I recall uploading a bunch of better quality sprites for the FF VI section. I saw nukie mention that and uh yeah it's on my dropbox somewhere ^_^
NoI am not going to give them time. 40 mognets sent, and if the sons of bitches don't respond to the thread I am going to keep harassing them. This is a big deal. Doing this right is not just good for the members we have, but it's good for the owners, good for attracting new members and good for setting us aside from our competitors and showing S-E that we're not just a novelty, we're a goddamn asset.
It's quieter and people - at the moment - aren't so keen on the idea of looking at a frontsite because until now, it's never really affected them. Fingers crossed over time people will change their habits, see the frontsite as part of the community and get more involved, but you never know. As for the thread, well, it's early days yet still I'd say we've not got as much feedback as we could. In time, though. In time!
Sent 24 mognets off. I'm going to look at active members in the FF sections now to try and get them to participate seeing as this is particularly relevant to them (like it's not relevant to everyone anyway). There was more response to the staff surveys however long ago those were than there is to this. Why do we care more about judging people than improving things? smurf society man
