But I thought most will prefer the dragons themselves? I do played D&D Shadow over mystra (Arcade Game) and I thought the dragons are what draw the players to D&D. You can't really talk face to face through multiplayer videogames which I found is quite different if you actually talk to the person when he/she is right infront of you instead of typing or through a camera.
Beholder is a cool monster concept, so much so that WOTC has it on lockdown. I play tons of non-video games - board games and card games etc.. Good to be social although multiplayer videogames are solving that problem too
So you play it regularly with your friends? It is fun to play some games that is not computer related once in a while. But out of all creatures, why a beholder avatar?
It varies, as I have many friends who play, I prefer neither. It's a very different game from each side of the DM screen, and both are very enjoyable in different ways
So are you the player or the dungeon master? Which one in your opinion is fun?
