The dungeon crawlers I played have detailed maps, though, so that helps. Strange Journey has a very good auto map, while Persona Q (and Etrian Odyssey, which I haven't played) have maps that you can draw yourself on the bottom screen of the 3DS, which is super immersive and fun. Tiz is my favorite Catmancer, though!
Is this a common thing? This is why I don't play dungeon crawlers And it's a niche enough game that there's like... no help for it. Someone screencaped the maps but didn't mark where the tunnels and ladders connect or anything AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH Also I got the Catmancer. Dem Edea shorts

So I'm playing a dungeon crawler and I am just straight up lost in the latest dungeon. I spent hours last night trying to get to the end. HOURS
I got Swordmaster and Astrologian and now it is time for some hardcore money grinding
