  1. Yep, I draw. It's one of my favorite hobbies. Do you draw at all?

I would actually be excited if they got someone else to make the next Smash. It could be good for the series. Hopefully they would make something new and refreshing while still staying true to the series.
Ha ha, yeah the 64 one didn't age very well, but I still like to go back and play it sometimes.

That's good you don't have to deal with the bad commute for too long!
Yes, college would be a big step for me, and I want to make sure I'm ready if I ever decide to go. And I hope you'll be able to finish university someday too!
  2. It's actually not hard to use, it's just difficult to be good at it. Although I guess you could say that about a lot of things. :P Do you draw?

I hope they do make the Smash game good. It will be interesting because the next Smash isn't even confirmed, and it likely won't be made by Sakurai again. And nope, I don't play Smash 64. I don't think the game has aged well haha.

Well I actually think I'm going to accept the job anyways. I only have to put up with the bad transportation for a few months until I can save up for a vehicle. So it's not going to be bad for a long time
I'm sorry you can't afford it You're smart in waiting though. I've withdrawn twice now and wish I had just waited for awhile until I really felt like committing towards studying something.
  3. I stink at Photoshop too haha. I'm just not that great at digital art in general. I'm better with paper and pencils, otherwise I'd offer to help.

I totally agree with you. It'll be interesting to see where they take Smash Bros. Like you said, I hope they put more into the next one and actually give it a story and better single-player modes. They need to take their time and make it good. I really hope the series doesn't go downhill though. Do you play the first one at all?
And yes, I hope they keep Roy too!

I'm really sorry you have to be on a bus for two hours a day! That is pretty brutal. I hope you find a job that's closer soon.
Well, I'm probably not going to college because neither me or my family can really afford it, and I don't know what I want to study yet. I don't want to go to college not knowing what I want to do first.
  4. We'll see! I also know some people on another forum who do a really nice job. I wish I were good at Photoshop...I made some sigs way back in 2012. They were all terrible, but I tried. Haha.

I really do hope we're getting a new Smash game for the Switch that has an adventure mode like SSE. And I agree, 4 is still a good game. It's just..kind of weird. People loved Melee because it actually had really deep gameplay and mechanics, giving birth to a competitive scene that has lasted over 15 years now. Brawl didn't have that, yet it was truly a great game to play for fun and with friends. It took the series in new directions in terms of both music and story. 4 is kind of this middle ground where it has some competitive viability like Melee, yet is lacking a lot of the heart and soul of Brawl. It doesn't particularly exceed at either of the things that made those two games really stand out.

I think everyone loves Roy. He was cut for being a "clone character" yet his appearance in Smash 4 is really welcome. I hope he's brought back in another installment.

I'm sorry to hear your job got discontinued, Victoria :/ I actually just withdrew from university and I'm currently jobhunting. I found a position at a car factory, but the transportation is brutal. Two hours on a bus every day. I'll probably still take it though. How come you're unsure about college?
  5. Night Fury was the one who made my sig, so maybe you could ask her?

Subspace Emissary was my favorite thing about Brawl too. I love how they never talked and yet you still totally understood what was going on. I was really sad they didn't have it in the fourth one. It would've been so cool to see the new characters interact with the old ones. The fourth one was definitely lacking something, but it's still very enjoyable.
Yes! I love that they brought Roy back. He is my main character in Melee, and I was so bummed that they took him out of Brawl. I was sooo excited when I saw his reveal trailer for the fourth one.

I graduated from high school last year, and I'm not sure I'll ever go to college. I worked on a farm for a little over a year, but the job I was working on got discontinued, so I've been job hunting for the past couple months. What about you?
  6. Hmm, maybe I could. I've been planning on requesting a set here for awhile now, I just haven't gotten around to it haha. Tough to say what my favorite FF character is. Maybe Zidane?

Subspace Emissary was probably my favorite thing about Brawl. The way all of these Nintendo characters, Snake and Sonic come together over the course of the adventure is amazing. I thought it was really well-done and memorable.
But with Smash 4, Sakurai didn't want cutscenes in the game because they would get "leaked" and spoil things for others. Which isn't a valid complaint and just made me frustrated as a fan. They could have built off of SSE in the next Smash, but they just played it safe and gave us more of the same. Which isn't always a bad thing, but I definitely felt like Smash was missing something. Also the new Smash Tour mode is pretty terrible.

Roy is super cool, too! I love that they brought him back for 4. He's tons of fun.

Are you in school/working? What do you study or do?
  7. I forgot to say which characters I play most :P.
I play Ganon and Roy the most. I've never met anyone who played Olimar! He's not my kind of character for sure haha.
  8. Maybe you could have a sig of your favorite FF character. Do you have a favorite FF character?

    Of course, I totally understand.

I completely agree with you about 4! It felt rushed and they recycled voice clips and taunts, and they had no story mode like Subspace Emissary, which was one of my favorite things about Brawl. I do really like the 8 player smash though. That way nobody gets left out.
  9. It's all good, no worries

I might look into it now that I have a bit of time. I have no idea what I want for my sig though haha. Also I totally will play Fire Emblem in the future, don't worry. Just a matter of money right now.

Aw I'm sorry you can't play 4. I honestly felt like 4 was just lacking a lot of the heart and soul that made Brawl so good. Brawl was crafted out of love and was a celebration of everything gaming, really. Subspace Emissary was awesome. The music was incredible, with so many different composers chipping in. 4 just felt like Sakurai was forced to make it. It's still an incredible game, but at least in terms of lacking a story mode and really stellar music, it falls flat.

I play Olimar the most! And a bunch of Fox. How about you?
  10. Sorry it took me a bit to reply!

And yeah, I'm sure you could get someone here to make you a signature. They seem to be pretty nice about doing that.

That's too bad. I hope you'll be able to play it someday though!

Brawl is my favorite SSB. I've logged so many hours into that one. Melee is a close second. I enjoy playing the fourth one, but I can't play it unless I'm at my brother's house because he has a Wii U.
What characters do you play the most?
