Conversation Between Freya and Bubba

  1. It's a topic I can go on and on about. Thanks to where I live I've heard every defense ever. I'm prepared lol

I'm doing blargh lately. I don't know how bad you guys are over there with allergies but here it is horrible here. My eyes are burning and I'm dying D:
  2. This is the reason I steer clear of the Lifestream and what used to be EOEO. There is just no reasoning with some people. Especially when they create a thread then proceed to ignore any concrete evidence provided against their argument.

I think I'll stick to my usual threads debating unusual pizza toppings and Maester Seymour's belly.

How are you? I wouldn't be up this late but the 3am feed was mine tonight...
  3. oh god your post in the gun thread had me laughing. I read your post then his then your reaction and i just laughed and laughed and laughed. I could physically picture you with that reaction xD
  4. Well he mostly doesn't say things TO people but I hear him on our side complain and it frustrates him a lot.

For the most part I try to avoid the drama. I'm actively trying to avoid it now even when I talk to other eoffers haha. It just messes things up and honestly I just want to geek out about nerdy things. Speaking of, I've got a... thing going. If you were to hypothetically be willing to watch an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation a week and then discuss it, would you?
  5. Aww man, that would annoy me. I don't play games like FIFA or COD because the online community is so appalling. I only really Co-op with Destiny as everyone is friendly and eager to help. I'm sure Dalton isn't too bad!

EOFF is my life away from life and I try to be involved in as little drama as possible in both! I'm of the ilk that the more I let things bother me, the quicker I'll start to look older and grumpier. Hence, I'm still young and fresh-faced... though that my change with two-years worth of sleepless nights.

You guys should definitely hit us up if you make it over here. It'd be great to meet you both! I'm only 3 hours from BoB and The Shaunas and about two hours from Psychotic. Our island is teeny-tiny so meet-ups are easily arranged!
  6. It'd happen i'm sure. You should see how he acts about WoW. I'm always like "shhh calm down" He's a raid leader and while he doesn't SAY things to be mean... most times.. I hear him bitching so much about people's stupidity. I'm sure EoFF would drive him mad. I know it sometimes makes me grumpy!

That's okay though. He knows and accepts my internet home from a distance haha.

He's okay meeting nerds though. Well he's very personable so he didn't have an issue with Jess at least! I think he'd probably get along with you fairly well though. If we make it over the pond then we'l have to hit you guys up too!
  7. Haha, definitely get him to join then! His stay would be short and sweet MissH has got three FF's under her belt since joining so fair play to her! She started with FFVII because I wouldn't have it any other way. She's really nice though and don't think could ever get banned. Having Dalton would be great... I can just see it now. "Freya's other half banned within six days for inciting riots based on the superiority of hamsters over gerbils."
  8. I think he'd get banned! Haha. He has a foot in mouth syndrome a lot and a bit of a temper. He enjoys those he's had to interact with from here but he's not interested in FF at all. I feel if he joined he'd get angry at some of the heated discussions here and welp. Lol
  9. Aww, thanks hon! Sophie is much more of a natural parent than me I think, she's amazing. I'm not doing too bad so far though! He seems to respond to is both really well. Looking forward to him being a bit more independent... and looking forward to a decent sleep routine!

Glad you had a good time! I've always had a good time when meeting EOFFers. I don't allow things to become awkward... mainly due to the fact that I talk absolute bollocks from the first minute. I met Quin a couple of years ago and we just got drunk in Manchester's Northern Quarter. My meeting with Psychotic this year was a much more civilised affair. A couple of drinks at a Star Wars Cantina Bar then a posh fillet steak at a restaurant. Loony BoB's wedding I think I was led astray by my friend Chris and may have had one too many...

God, I sound like a raging alcoholic. I'm not at all bad any more, especially now Baby Bubba has arrived. Though saying that, MissH and I are leaving Baby Bubba with his French Mamie tomorrow so we can go for a nice meal and a cocktail or two

Texas IS that big! It's probably the same size as the whole of Britain. So are you gonna invite Mr. Dalton to join our illustrious crew? I really liked your matching Otter/Texas T-shirts!
  10. Oh, I'm sure there will be a lot more sleepless nights, it's just starting! You'll love the adventure too. Just think of all the lovely things he will learn! Ahhhhhh I'm so excited for you to be a dad. I know you'll do a great job. You have a great lady to be right there with you. You two will be amazing parents, I know it!

Jess' and I's meeting was a little awkward at first because it's been literal years since we really talked.

To preface it, Texas is big, but not THAT big. We were planning on going to San Antonio and the day before we decided we wanted to see the Gulf of Mexico. Corpus Christi is only a 2-hour drive south. So we said, "smurf it" and we got a hotel for one night there for beach time fun.

I remembered she lived there and thought, why not! We went to a hookah bar so that was fun. It was good to catch up with someone who's been more in your "world" than your normal everyday acquaintances. We'll probably go visit again because it was pretty fun in the end.
