Yup. Most men are taught to be emotionally stunted from the beginning. Apparently that's a bigger weakness than being incapable of verbalizing what's going on in your head My parents were pretty cool and did not stigmatize my expression of emotions so I have relatively little trouble talking about feelings.
Oh I thought as a gender study enthusiast you might find this interesting. We were discussing the discussion of feelings in class this morning and whether it was easy for men and women to express feelings. Women were like "No because my anger reminds me of my mother and I had a bad incident when *skip to 5 minutes later* Men were like "No."
