Fossils usually count as city encounters, or static Pokemon. Yes, you can have dupes clause. Yam ask isn't that great from what I recall, but its evolution is a really solid wall. Will-O-Wisp and good physical bulk.
and, of these fossils. Do they count as a relic castle encounter, or Nacrene city encounter

There's a Zorua, but you need an event Celebi to get it, unfortunately. That's it, as far as I know.
