Right. Just finished Life of Pi. Once you finish reading about his experience, you'll be amazed at how great this book is. Once you finish reading the "epilogue" (for want of a better word), the greatness and your amazement thereof will be multiplied by almost infinite magnitudes. For the love of everything good in the world, which includes Life of Pi, you must read this book as soon as you possibly can. It's that good. Anyway, I'm gonna see if I can run SoulSilver of DeSmuMe (or whatever it's called). Fingers crossed.
You can build a very excellent desktop for £500+. The desktop equivalent of this laptop would be around that range, and this thing can handle Fary Cry 3 on High/Medium. I don't think it's necessary to go much higher, really. At most, I'd spend £800 on a desktop build. The laptop is different, because it's a self-contained entity that I can't really upgrade, which is a shame. Also, it's portable, hence the price hike. But still, it's better than going back to the smurfing consoles. I can't believe I actually oppose the console generation now; they've smurfed it that much.
SO MANY GAMES. I'll have to invest in something good prior to the next generation of consoles, I'm not paying a couple grand for new smurfing systems argh. Looking forward to DayZ as well, so much.
