Well like I said, even before the ex I still didn't like her character. That scene at the Gold Saucer made me want to slap her face right off. So even if I move past that she is just not a character I enjoy. But hey, you can't like them all, right?
I'm sorry to hear that. I hope one day you'll be able to separate the character from the ex.
Honestly, I'm not sure why I hate her to the extent I do. I've always disliked her because I find her rude and annoying, but I think that of a few other characters and I don't hate them to that degree. I have a theory that she reminds me of my boyfriends ex who was very rude to me and the fact that he likes the character so much combined with that probably makes it so that she just really rubs me the wrong way.
Dare I ask what Aerith did to earn your scorn? I'm genuinely curious and can't remember you ever going into much detail about it. Are you going to annihilate me for asking this question?
