It's a shame I'm lazy.
A lot of magazines have a section that looks at whatever, so long as it's well-written. Essays and whatnot. It's worth seeing what different magazines publish and pitching ideas to editors.
Never heard of Hyper Magazine. I've had people recommend I try to get published, too. But I never know where to look in term of magazines. I tend to switch from old and new games left and right and I don't have enough money to follow new releases.
Yeah he has some work published in Hyper Magazine over here (which is our biggest gaming magazine). He's pitching to some others. Hopefully that all goes well for him. His writing is pretty excellent.
I didn't know Jiro worked with video games. What does he do exactly? Is he a reviewer like me? =o
This isn't a new thing for me. I have to endure watching Jiro do the same and call it work. It's terrible.
Prepare to be jelly. I play a game every week. I've been at it since last July.
Have played a little of most and have seen all of them being played, so I have a fair idea of what I'm getting into, but finding the time is next to impossible. I already have very little free time for video games and I already have a list of things to look at. As for a busy Christmas, I 100% know the feeling. That was a hellish time.
I'm in a boat not too different from yours. I only played ACII and am currently in the process of playing III. Both were requests for a review from a friend. If you're unsure whether or not to try ACII I have a review of it I can show you. Did it last December. It was a hell of a Christmas.
Oh this is a series I should've added to that thread about famous games I haven't played. I've played a little but not nearly enough. My ex used to own them so I'd play if I visited his place. I'm sure Jiro has them somewhere though so I could probably play his copies now. Yes, I must add this to the list.
