Well, you know me. I don't think something needs to completely avoide cliches to be good. Sometimes something can be done really well even if it doesn;t bring anything new to the fray
Yeah you can get it on Vita. I'm not sure how much you would like it but I love it. It doesn't really shake anything up, it's more a collection of common JRPG elements made in to a game, but it does it really well. It has a few faults, the main character is kind of a Gary Sue and it has a bit of sexism in it, but overall the cast is strong, their relationships are strong, the story is interesting (if you don't mind the slow pacing, some people hate that), the world is good, and it's overall just a lot of fun

Yeah it's my favourite game that I've played since starting my game journal after my top games list. I'd place it top 5 ever
