I, II, Re:Coded, 358/2, and one more I think?
Which other ones have you tried?
It's a shame I haven't enjoyed the other ones I've tried too much
Yeah, it always looks super complex on paper, but the games really feed it to you at a sustainable pace, which is really satisfying when you play them in order because there's just a consistent stream of revelations and stuff Though Formy still thinks it's too much to handle, apparently
There's a lot to sort through there :P
Nah, not really. There are some worlds that are ~extra separate~, such as all the worlds from Birth by Sleep that got eaten by Heartless are in the Realm of Darkness, so you can;t just normally get there, you have to go through Kingdom Hearts ~the door~. Kingdom Hearts ~the hearty moon~ is a different thing
I've only played II and I to a smaller degree so I don't have the whole story there, thanks! I thought for some reason it was like ~extra separate~
It's just a separate world. In KH II you'll see it's much bigger as Kairi and Selphie go to school on a different, larger isloand from where they can take a raft to that little island. In general, all worlds are separated and don't come into contact. In KH I the darkness invading opens up the routes for the Heartless, which is bad, which is why Sora closes the Keyholes so the worlds stay separated. In KH II Sora needs to open the Lanes Between to reach the worlds, which was done by Eraqus in Birth By Sleep so Ven, Aqua, and Terra can travel freely. Apparently, the worlds were more connected in the past, as I think you can just normally go from world to world in Chi, but Keyblade war and stuff made it unsafe
Why is the island where Sora and co start out on in KH separated from the other worlds and stuff?
I get that. In general terms, it's just a specific type of slapstick comedy where you use mild violence in a safe space for humor, but I understand that someone who's been through things can have a vastly different reaction to that
